Were you late to work today because of train traffic?
Well, if you were taking the 7 train, then the reason for that delay was
because a man was hit, and killed, by the 7 train at the 90th Street -
Elmhurst Ave. Station, according to the NYPD.
Subway service on the 7 line is now back to normal but no details on why the
man was hit have been revealed as of yet.
According to sources within the MTA, the incident took place at 9:33 a.m. on
the Time Square-bound train.
The NYPD has not yet released the person's identity and, according to the
MTA, the person's family members have not yet been contacted. | d*j
