working as Sr. Clinical SAS Programmer for years mostly in giant
pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis, Allergan, Bristol-Myers Squibb,

be more practical if you could share any career information here.
Otherwise, I am going to delete this thread, becuase it looks more like an
ad.

你需要的career info 指的是什么? 很多中国朋友都有了 BASE, ADV 认证但是 那些东
西面试的时候没有人会问。 SAS 药物编程主要讲的是经验，面试官会在意你到底做过
没有DATASET， 做过什么TABLE？能否一天一个DATASET， 2个TABLE 做出来？ 这些都
不能从题库，参考书里找到。
这确实是个AD， 但我希望能有中国朋友能通过学习有实际的经验，然后能进入这个行
当。
我希望能再保留几天这个帖子，能让有心想做这行的中国朋友多一个思路。

you dont have to have statistics background thats for sure. If you have some
IT background thats a plus but if you dont, thats ok. I have seen ppl
majored in history or english do SAS programming job and they are very good.
So, more efforts and hard work is the key to everything.
No education on this world could guarantee a job. I really dont want to
mislead you but I could say that 2-3 chinese vendors are actively looking
for ppl know to program SAS. |
