If the driver's license is in a language other than English and the
characters are not in the English language (i.e. Russian, Chinese, etc.) an
International Driver's Permit is required.
Note: Customers are not allowed to rent a vehicle with only an International
Driver's Permit

If I have a driver's license from a different country, would I be allowed to
drive in the United States? If the drivers license can be translated by a
Hertz representative, then yes, you would be able to drive in the US. If not
, then a International driving permit will be strongly recommended, in
