I have seen a case where the person has to pay over $1M in penalty to NYC to
stay out of jail.
Note: however, he was making multi millions for the years that he owe taxes
on. Don't know if the city would care for $3K, but that would be your risk

什么SAVING CHECKING的。不是都WITHHOLD了么。如果没有WITHHOLD的话，要改赶紧改
。你改地址还要好一段时间呢。不要等到后来来不及，已经都2月了。 就这样吧正经的

If they want to enforce it, the city still can prove your resident by your
electric/gas bills. Also, if you have Metrocards that are purchased under
your credit card or check, that can be use to prove that you are actually a
NYC resident.

Sure, if you can provide the LIRR tickets to prove otherwise.
Don't think the city is going waste time on $3K, unless they just want to
get a few examples to discourage others from doing it.

那个要用别人地址逃CITY TAX 的 不要这么做。刚听到一个被抓的。灰常灰常严。
政府要的证明是 你不仅仅的要提供DRIVER LICENSE地址 7788的BILLS，还要你提供的
是不仅仅你拥有那个地址的房子，而且证明你每天是生活在那个地址的房子里的证明。
我刚听说的这个例子还是真的本人拥有那个房子，租给别人，本人又住在CITY的，更别
说你之是用朋友的地址。FORGET IT BA 不值得。
