America is an immigration country, what does it belong to? it belongs to
everyone, that's everyone learned in the first US government class in high
school.If everyone only think of him/herself, how the government can achieve
domestic tranquility? As a new comer myself years ago, and I was welcome a
lot by the people surrounding me. I felt very warm, and these people really
did not discriminate against you because of your skin color, English skill
level, and your cultural background. When you met them, they smiled at you,
and when you need help, they provided what they can do. It does make huge
difference and great influence to your life. One of my very first English
classmate who was from Poland, she can't stay here because she can't have a
legal status. The teacher, white, born and lives all his life in NYC, fells
very sad for her everytime we talk. He said she shouldn't be back because of
the legal status.
There are two different types of Americans, one group of these who go to
college and are educated, and another one group of people who are always on
the street and never graduated from high school. If you have spent part of
your life with the first group of these people, you won't only keep your
eyes and criticize the second group.

Where is the fairness and justice for the folks that follow the law and
apply legality (and waiting in their home country) to immigrate into America
so they can be united with their family/love ones?
Not sure if you are old enough to go clubbing. How would you like it when
you
been waiting on line for many hours to get into a popular spot, and all of a
sudden the manager says that all those people that have skip the line
through the back doors and got in ahead of you are free to stay and you
should continue to wait on line till you number is called (if ever)? If
these guys that skip the line starts to pay a few dollars to the club's
annual fee they can gain full membership to enjoy the open buffet and open
bar while rest of your friends have been paying full membership fee and don'
t necessary get the open buffet or open bar. Should your friends that are
already in the club tell the manager he is wrong or, for the sake of "
tranquility", keep their mouth shut and forget about injustice to them and
the friend that is still waiting outside in the cold?
More importantly, for others that been looking from outside, would they wait
in the cold like you or would they decide to go through the back door or
hop over the wall like the others? How long will your "tranquility" last?

or try it next time. It's just another place to social. People around me do
go to clubbing but stop after awhile, usually girls more like to go to
clubbing than guys.
Well, if you know someone who works in the club, don't you have a chance to
skip the line? or if you are already inside, there is no reason to kick you
out to the end of the line. You go to clubbing to have fun, people come here
for living. It's very different. After many years staying here, do you
still think they belong to the place where they came from? Do you actually
know anyone around you who has been staying here for many years and still
don't have legal ID? Whatever path they choose to legalize themselves, they
just want to make their lives easier.
I guess the question you raised is: why can they get the identities so
easily, while I need to get through all these legal papers through years. It
's not fair. I guess it's better to ask, why everyone wants to stay here.
