Did the same commute on 2009. Out around 8am and hit the road 5:30pm on the
way back. 35-50 mins one way, give or take. GCP was always better than LIE
but it was still slow between Forest Hills and Great Neck especially in the
morning. Also have sun glasses all the time as you always drive facing the
sun.
