, and at year end, u pay ur home state tax minus the tax u paid for the
state u work.
so in ur case, they probably withheld ur ny state tax on ur w2. at the end
of the year, u file for both states, but then nj will probably credit u
whatever u pay to nys up to the amt of ur nj tax liability. since nys rate
is higher, u probably dont pay for nj tax. so basically u pay for federal
tax and nys tax rate.

W2应该纽约和新泽西的都有，退税的时候两个州都要报。一般新泽西的算出来接近于零
，纽约的会退点钱。
