side 68th street and my wife working location is very close to ground
central terminal. Two kids in elementary school and consider publich school.
The budget for renting is ~6000, and plan to live in Manhattan (2 Br or 3Br
). Is there any reasonable price apartments close to both working locations
with good public elementary and middle schools? Any comments for the family
life in NYC?. Thanks. Sorry for the broken English. |

to work probably around 1 hr. and u can cut the rent by at least 50% |

I heard that applying middle and high school needs entrance exam, not
default to the living location. Any comments for public school inside upper
east side?

commute to Grand Central and upper Eastside aint bad.

Enjoy NYC. You won't regret your decision. For a rental $6000, 2 bedroom
should be easily found. You might need to consider the best private school
in the country if you live in the city.
For suburb, westchester county will be good choice. Bronxville or Scarsdale
are among the best public schools of the country.
