发帖数: 266 | 2 好像是不行。虽然不是personal tax的专家，但是原来考CPA学过，好像是所有的
dependants都必须住在你的household里才能deduct. 如果accounting版没人知道话，
不如打电话给你们local的tax/accounting小公司咨询一下。 |

发帖数: 1379 | 3 I think you can claim charitable contribution on the itemized deduction, if
the donation is through a legitimate charity. I do not think you can claim
personal exemption or child deduction because you did not adopted the child
and he does not live with you.

because they are not my dependent.
I just wondering if I can claim the charitable contribution if the charity
organization is not a US organization. |
