I was tested positive for GBS (Group B Strep) at 36 weeks and am very
worried. The doc said not to as it is quite common but obviously the risk
is still there. Anyone has any experience with this? This is my second
baby and I didn't have this problem with my first. I'm currently 37 weeks
plus 4 days.

Calm down. Not a big deal. I had GBS+ when delivering my first baby - the
test prior to deliverying my 2nd turned outs negative. It was required by
the SOP of the hospital that I receive iv antibiotics at that time.

Thank you. Just read online about the possibility that the baby can get ill
(and the type of illness) and got me worried.
