Two private hospitals in Queens will file for bankruptcy today and could
close in coming weeks - leaving 2,500 medical professionals out of work,
sources said.
The board of directors of Caritas Health Care - which runs St. John’s
Queens Hospital in Elmhurst and Mary Immaculate Hospital in Jamaica - voted
Thursday night to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, Caritas said in
a statement.
Caritas said it would file for bankruptcy in federal court and that a

了，关了好几家医院。那时ST JOHN’S也说是要关闭了，谁想居然有人又买下了，不过
