I went to recruiting center of Flushing, NY and signed up MAVNI program for
army nurse several days ago. Today I was told that recruiting army nurses of
this program will be done by another recruiting center (I didn’t remember
the name of another center). Have you heard the same news? Also do you know
whether the recruiting center in Flushing opens on Saturday? Thanks in
advance! |

told to fill out a form online at wwww.goarmy.com (search for MAVNIS.)
The person from the flushing office said MAVNIS did not have reserve;
however, a person from army MAVNIS program called me today and asked some
preliminary questions.She said this program did have reserve. |

周六，周日，节假日都不开门，去之前最好先打电话确认,
有人接电话就是有人值班的。
这周就到过一个肯塔基center来的电话，问了一些问题，
感觉还是普通的调查随访一类的，
说通过背景调查后会由医务类的recuiter联系我，
还没有收到新的电话。 |

MAVNI program last Tuesday (2/24), but haven't had any call from Army. It
was Sergeant Raymond Jones who took care of my case when I visited the
recruiting center and talked to me via phone last Friday. I found it was a
little bit hard to get his meaning, at least to me. |

过了一周大概，
他们又给我打来，我又给miss掉了
这次他们留言了，
然后我又打回去。
黑人小伙的口音都挺重的，没关系，你可以让他们慢慢说的。

网上的消息是说从纽约开始招聘的理由是这里有
会说多种语言的招兵员，我觉得对你的所在地应该没有影响的，
大家如果特别特别想报名，
但是纽约又太远的话，
可以把自己的所有文件复印件打包直接邮寄到法拉盛这家
至少先卡个位
让后有考试什么的
可以去离自己最近的征兵办公室
没有正式签合同之前 你都不算部队的人
所以任何时候反悔都来的及
不用担心是不是给了材料就不能退出这个program了 |

毕业证书成绩单执照证书
如果有社安号驾驶执照什么的
都带上 他要复印原件的
其他的你觉得有用的都给他复印就可以了
办公室里就是个模拟考
考单词选同义词
考阅读理解
考数学
就单词有点难 SAT那个水平的
估计考过GRE单词的 应该问题不大
阅读理解不难
数学不难 但是卡时间
有些问题问单位换算
英尺英寸 加仑 品脱换算 摄氏华氏换算
还有比如问你7 13 10 18 问你后面那个数字填什么
就四个部分 时间有点紧
等以后考正式的之前买本书做点练习就行

发帖数: 47 | 15 I called Flushing recruiting center again today. My understanding is that
applications for health care specialties and linguists of MAVNI program will
be evaluated by different centers: Flushing recruiting center will take
care of applications for linguists, while another center (it might be the
one in Kentucky that called teacher) will complete health care applications.
You can still apply MAVNI program through Flushing recruiting center, but
your application will be forwarded to another center |

program and they didn't have any idea how to do. They have to find out how
to do and called me once they know anything. Good news is I don't need to go
to NY but I really don't know how long I need to wait. |
