programs.
I appreciate the critical role nurses play in our health care system.
Research shows that insufficient nurse staffing contributes to nearly 25% of
all unexpected incidents that kill or injure hospitalized patients. And it
is estimated that by 2020, our nation’s nursing shortage will have grown to
340,000.
