hospital, and will start working next week. The nurse manager told me that i
will have one or two days orientaion then I will be on my own.Does anybody
here work at Rehab hospital? Does two days too short for a GN? will you give
me some suggestions? Thank you very much! |

an opening.

mins drive). I did feel it is difficult to find a job because of enconomy.
The rehab hospital is my first interview and will be my first job.

home.

我的感觉是，即使你上班了，你心里压力很大。
我能理解工作难找，特别是医院的工作。
如果我是你，我就会按照经理说的时间去ｏｒｉｅｎｔａｔｉｏｎ，第一天你就纯粹观
察，在下班的
时候再和老板说说你的感受．要是我一方面很怕失去机会，但是一方面又担心ｈａｎｄ
ｌｅ不了。所
以不会还没有开始就和他们提条件。在第一天侧问你的同事看看他们有过多久的ｏｒｉ
ｅｎｔａｔｉ
ｏｎ，（有经验的he没有经验的都要了解）。一天下来，肯定有点直观的感觉，比如一
个人要ｃａｒ
ｅ几个病人，每天上班的ｒｏｕｔｉｎｅ，还有同事们是不是很好，是不是有另外的同
事帮你，在你
需要的时候。然后你在和老板提条件，如果时间真的只有两天，你需要更多的时间，一
定要和老板直
接谈，不能赶鸭子上架。

果你干过餐馆的外卖接电话, 体会了以后, 再干这个,会好点.

发帖数: 24 | 12 Thanks for all reponses and suggesions.
Tommorrow I will need to stay with HR to fill out all the paper works.Then
second day I will stay with physical therapist for half day.The third day I
will have my orientation and I think i will follow vinhelp07's suggesion.
Did anyone read Nurses act before start nursing career? I think I really
need to. |

it is a bad idea to work for them, so I left.
Got my check covered the day.

发帖数: 24 | 14 Ha Ha, what a joke I made to you all! Please don't get mad at me.I think I
added "hrs" between 12 and shifts when the words went through my ears to my
brain...So I will have 12 shifts which I culculated it will be 3 wks.I will
start working with a preceptor next Monday night.
