missing. Here is my two cents.
If you want to be happy about your job, first you have to love or at least
like it. The basic caring and the skills you have and able to offer to your
patients, isn't it amazing? You saw a patients have three bullets into the
head, after 3 months, she can talk and walk and family bring gifts back to
you. You saw a patient asystole, nurse initiated code yellow, surgeons in,
needle thoracent |

但是我大部分时候心情还是可以的，特别是当我看到PAYCHECK或是看到政府报告失业率
是多少多少时。
工作对我来说就是工作，一份谋生的手段而已，只要不是特别恨它，为了生存（或是为
了更好的生存），我都可以干。
你要让我喜欢一份给300LB的黑女人擦屁股的工作，这是不可能的。要是我的病人都是
范冰冰或是小燕子还差不多。 |

take the part I dislkie.
Frankly, I don't think nurses are paid enough compared with what we are
doing. Unfortunately, in this field salary mostly is not based on
performance,but how many years your nursing experiences are. Unless you want
to do agency or traveling, there are still pretty money overthere. When I
see my paycheck, I am not very grateful about the amount. But I do feel
grateful and rewarded when my patient

If I have choice, definitely I will not choose nursing job.
But of course, you have to offer me a job with similar or better pay.

abdomen, SOB and hypotension. Physician suspected pt had pulmonary embolism,
and ordered heparin. The night shift nurse said No to physician about
heparin. If no test done to rule out internal bleeding, she will give none
of heparin. PEA arrest later,ACLS got pt back, hemoglobin found dropped from
11 to 5. Numerous blood products given. CT-scan later found a large
retroperitoneal hematoma 22cm*24cm, and pt also was found |

其实大多数人根本不喜欢工作。
在国内，不管干什么工作，大家的目标都是当上官，一当上官，就不用做具体工作，剩
下的就是管人和拿钱了。
所以其实大多数工作都没有人喜欢的。不仅仅是护士。
人们喜欢的是“工作”的一些共性，而不是特性。这些共性就是收入，轻松度，通勤时
间，人际关系，上升空间，稳定性，福利等等。

个护士5年太不值得
写PS或者学习目标，我都完全没话说，实话不能说，假话自己都觉得恶心
不过楼主看起来很发自内心，赞
确实很多人都不喜欢工作，所以MBA这个专业很多人学。但是这个世界最不缺的就是领
导，护理读了MSN和phd，临床工作似乎就没什么大的价值了
我觉得只要复出和回报是对等的工作，且能有成就感，是最最最重要的
终于当官，也不仅仅是不做事光拿钱，成就感，也就是面子，是一个很关键的
当护士有面子么？反正在国内好像抬不起头，大学时到现在，我基本都说我是学医的，
不好意思说我学护理。我们全系的同学都这样，没有一个以本专业为荣。 |

You can live in your ego, and you can live in your dream. In reality, no RN
can INITIATE an end-of-life discussion. If you did, you'd be practicing
outside the scope of your practice.
Of course, you wanna be a doctor, you can.
Only in your dream, though.

前几天我做resource nurse,帮一个同事扎IV, 病人竟然call me" leave me alone,you
ching people"! 我告诉病人这是not appropriated,我只是要帮你.but she said 'I
don't care'! 好吧,既然你不care,去死吧.立马停下来,跟她的护士说了一声找别人弄
吧,就出了病房,同时通知所有同事,这个病人老娘不伺候.别说,她是很难扎的那种,我不扎别的护士也扎不进,后来supervisor帮她扎的.
