发帖数: 21 | 1 昨天真的是horrible的一天，一天都在跟poopoo打交道，两个病人，一个是一天超过12
次的
incontinent diarrea，病人还非常mean,另外一个是diarrea的基础上还得喝golytely
，因为
第二天要做colonoscopy，我们医院ICU和CVU是连在一起的，只有一个CNA，因为烟瘾大
还不停的
take break，压根就没有给我帮过任何忙，我这个是前脚从这个病人房间出来了，后脚
又得去另外一
个病房clean shit，做了一天CNA的活。
我不是说不愿意做这样的事，可是一天都在clean poopoo，我压根就没有时间做其他事
，如果另外一
个病人很sick的话，我怎么有精力去照顾好这个病人呢。我感觉我的manager是用一个
护士的工资来
pay 护士和护工的工作，不知道其他xdjm们是不是也跟我一样，还是你们有足够的CNA
来帮助你们。

non-bedside positions. But very hard to find. If you are patient enough you
will find one. I am teaching LVN part time now plus my weekend job as
bedside nurse.

nurse and other staff were extremely helpful even better than my own floor,
I still cannot work at that kind of floor.

发帖数: 161 | 7 That's why I like my floor-psych. seldom dealing with poopoo situation. NO IVs,no foleys,no chest tubes,no feeding tube,no blood transfusion. What we do is giving meds,limit setting and therapeutic commnunication.Get some med-surg experience,transfer to psych. |

PLEASE
以点都不假，一找他们帮忙就说pass tray or checking vitals，很少answer call
light。

they have to pay more. They even don't have desire to hire BSN for
clinicals now because they want to hire LVN to teach clinicals to save money.
as for English, I have some trouble in the beginning too, all we need is an
opportunity and more practice.

发帖数: 193 | 16 I still like working in ICU. Most of days are fun days.Occasionally,bad days
when swamped with back to back admissions with short of staff. Totally
depending on who you work with. Majority of our unit RNs are young, humor,
easy going, passionate with what we are doing. Nobody like code brown, and
if really diarrhea, using rectal bag or flexseal will save a lot of time.
Having buddies will make work much easiler! |

May when I know where I will go for fellowship, then she will take LSAT and
apply.
oh, her salary got increased today, 2 dollars more per hour, they like her
