Asked the manager to use vacation and holiday hours, so she only needs to
work two days a week for one semester if she did not take many breaks for a
while.
Based on what I heard, it is manageable except the last semester which she
may have to spend 30 hours a week on her class.
Switch to day shift if possible. | y**m

manager答不答应和绿卡申请没有关系.只要你的full time status改了,就会take
the risk.

发帖数: 64 | 4 I means that you can use one vacation day per week. So you are still full
time but you only work two days a week. You should be able to do this for
about 3 months (a semester).

It takes time to get the master degree, and to speed up she will have to
switch to EB2. Since only RN does not need perm, the paper work will be
quite long and it is hard to find an employer to sponsor GC application for
NPs. There is a discussion about it several days ago.
Basically, the direct benefits of a master degree to the immigration status
is not so good. Of course, for a "big cow", finding a NP job with GC
sponsorship will be piece of cake. |
