Each case get paid by Medicare/medical around 3000-4000 depending on the
severity of illness. Most patients need IV or PT or wound care or GT. The
nurse opening case get paid around $50 and $40 for following visits.Minimal
6 visits for one case. But agency has to pay for medical supplies. Any nurse
running this kind of business? How much net profit for one year? |

doctor. At that time, the company just started so it looked not making a
lot. I don't know how much exactly it made at that time, I left that company
because there were few clients and most of time I had been used as
translator with $20/hour on call. I needed to keep my nursing skill. |

外国人开的HOME HEALTH，主要靠医生介绍生意，所以医生是财源。你得打点。
很多HOME HEALTH，干脆都是医生参股或是医生自己开的。
因为美国人可以自己选，他们信息多，亚洲/老墨病人一般听医生的。
你想做这个生意，必须至少要认识2-3个华人家庭医生，通过他们你才有病人。
病人是不会自己找你的。
我原来做过一家HOME HEALHT，是韩国人开的，他们在CHINATOWN的生意背后有几个华人
医生，他们的办公室，就租的是其中一家医生的诊所的空房子。后来有两个医生和另外
的人合伙自己开了一个公司，前面一家公司的生意马上就下去很多。
我的看法是HOME HELATH的苦日子快要来了。MEDICARE/MEDICAID大幅度消减只日可待了。
最近很多坏消息。最新的一个提出处方药的保护期从12年降到7年，而且要BIG PHARM从
BRAND NAME的药的利润里吐出20-30%给MEDICARE。 |
