take to get the DNP degree if I already have BSN degree? is there any
website to check related information?
Does this mean the students entering the DNP program in 2014 will require
extra time comparing now? |

2015就一定所有学校都废除MSN项目。你去一些主要大学的网站上 基本都有目前 DNP
的信息以及他们的MSN项目是否会在2014左右取消 |

long. but if when most kids become DNP, sooner or later will feel the
pressure of not being a DNP.

有压力的应该是PA, 连master都不用。,。 |

of Nursing. It may success and may also fail. The fate depends on the
nursing board of each state.
ANA suggested BSN as the minimal entry requirement for RN more than 40 years
ago but never succeeded. |

NLNAC had taken a neutral position on the "mandatory" Doctorate of Nursing
Practice (DNP) purposed by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (
AACN) as the minimum educational standard/sole educational preparation for
advanced practice nurses (APNs). The AACN is not a regulatory body. It does
not issue nursing licenses, determine scope of practice or decide the
educational preparation for nursing roles or speacialities. The AACN does
accredit nursing programs grant a bachelors degree or higher, but so does
the NLNAC.
This means the 2015 DNP mandatory will fail most likely unless NLNAC change
it position. |

it is not in my state, but I am just afraid there are more and more schools
to have these rules, it will be much harder to find a master NP program
after 2014
