1.sprint is the largest wireless phone company, and AT&T is the second,
then the Verizon Wireless and Cingular. The largest means the largest
customer base, not necessarily the broadest network coverage. I am
currently using Sprint PCS, and so far it's been good. Seldom drop
calls and bad signals. But if you go under the ground or some shielded
place, like the lower level floor of a shopping mall or airport, you

The article is too old, now Verizon is the largest. The only **est thing
that sprint has is the worst signal.

Never heard about relationship between T-mobile and Verizon. They use
different network protocol(GSM v.s. CDMA). However, VoiceStream(T-Mobile)
has some coop with Cingular (trade of NY CA).
According to MSN, verizon has the best signal quality and best customer
satisfaction, also with the highest price per minute.Their American Choice
network is bigger than Sprint, because Verizon can use sprint network, while
sprint will not use Verizon's.
T-mobile(former Voice Stream) is the worst service pro
