On May 14 I saw a cartoon (as attached below) prineted on Plain Dealer
called “Year of Rat’. I, and all my friends and co-workers, no matter they
are Chinese, American or people from all other countries, were deeply hurt
nad offensed by this cartoon. We are also very disappointed to see this kind
of cartoons was published on the largest newspaper in Ohio.
The cartoon shows a rat with its tail broken by an earthquake. The only
impression I can get from it is that it refers to the recent ea |
