t****o 发帖数: 23 | 1 Hello,
I am considering to move from midwest (close to Omaha) to Portland.
Apparently the living cost would be higher and there will be more rain in
the winter time. Any suggestions on an easy transition? Any one has similiar
experience (moving from Midwest to Portland)?
Thanks! |

While I read through the articles or blogs about portland, the comments are
always mixed. One site said the living cost at Portlant is 23% higher than
midwest. It seems I need to negotiate a pay raise for the job offer.
Is there a good webiste about Chinese community at Portland, e.g. Chinese
association? I'd like to learn more about portland, especially about housing
, daycares, schools et al. I already read the recommended chinese
restaurants on this board...ve |
