最低400左右。Dora，你可以问问你的保险公司。我也问一下我现在的保险公司，如果
就几十块，还不如加上去算了。 |

发帖数: 5681 | 7 Ours earthquake insurance is $600 + 15% deductible through Liberty Mutual.
Other companies quote us double of that. We end up switch our homeowner
insurance company from Amerprise to Liberty Mutual. The only thing we
dislike about Liberty Mutual is earthquake insurance required a $500K
personal item coverage. We don't even have anything valuable at home. I
guess they need to make money from somewhere with this policy.
According to our geotech engineer, our house is among safest in our
neighborhood due to non-disturbed lot without any backfilled. We are in
between two fault lines (Portland Hills & Oatfield), so it's highly
recommended to have this coverage.

发帖数: 11261 | 8 I checked with both AAA (the one I'm using right now) and allstate (I used
it before). The quotes for quake insurance are similar. AAA has lower price
for the house insurance plus the umbrella insurance. Also, since we bought
umbrella insurance, we are required to buy a higher auto insurance. That
makes a big difference. Altogether our insurance is about 900 cheaper (per
year, 600 from auto and 300 from home+umbrella) after we switched from
allstate to AAA. We ended up not buying quake insurance.

发帖数: 1068 | 12 我的Agent总算给我回电话，10%的deduction,保费400一年。和Dora问的价格差不多。
大保险公司一般不用考虑倒闭的问题，他们都有再保险公司，而且还有类似FDIC的保障。

看了这个还是有点害怕，好像北美确实是下一个目标，就不知道是阿拉斯加的阿留申地
震带，还是我们这旮瘩的Cascadia Subduction,或者是洛杉矶附近的安德列斯地震带。 |
