:30 PM Friday December 7 performance of their 2012 Christmas Concert.
Tickets are free; no assigned seating so first in gets first choice on
seating.
This is one of the finest Christmas concerts in the Portland area. This is a
musical program you will not want to miss. And plan to come a bit early for
a brief explanation of the words to the songs to be perrformed. See
attached file.

For the 21st year, Portland Christian Center has provided a block of free
tickets for World Welcome international friends for Friday evening, Dec. 7,
2012. 7:30 PM.

Eat early, dress up. Please eat before you come (there is no food at the
concert). And if you dress up a bit you can make it a special occasion.
Casual is OK, but not so enjoyable.
Where: Portland Christian Center, 5700 SW Dosch Road, Portland, OR 97239
Option 1: Come at 6:40PM to get in line to enter when doors open at 6:45PM.
If you come later, you will still be able to enjoy the program, but best
seats go first. Meet Vern in the lobby from 6:40 PM to get your tickets.
Option 2: Come at 6:15 PM to the chapel to hear brief written explanation (
with translation into Chinese) of some of the songs. Newcomers to
Christian Christmas music (about Jesus, not about Santa Claus and reindeer)
will better enjoy the concert if you understand reasons behind the songs.
Come in the main front doors and turn right and go down the corridor to the
chapel. The explanation and translation will end at 6:40 PM so you get
tickets from Vern then and go get in line to enter when the auditorium doors
are opened at 6:45.

When You Get There: On Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway (Highway # 10) When you
come to a traffic light at Dosch Road, get in the turn lane (Dosch Road goes
north and 30th Avenue goes south at this intersection); as soon as you turn
north onto Dosch Road, go about 50 meters and turn immediately into the
church service road. Attendants will direct you where to park. Overflow
parking may be directed into the parking lot of a synagogue nearby. After
parking, be sure to go to the church (on the hill with crosses, lights and
glass doors) and not to the synagogue. There is a shuttle bus to the church
if you are directed to park in the synagogue parking lot, and the shuttle
will return you to the synagogue parking lot after the concert. | h*******6
