Glacier Route, 3 of whom haven't climbed Rainier before. It's quite a nice
experience for each of us. Here is a brief account of the climb.
July 3rd,
5:00am, took off from Redmond; Had a breakfast at McDonald's in Enumclaw;
Arrived at White River WIC at around 7:15. There were a few parties ahead of
us including Ann and Marty's group climbing Little Tahoma. We had a chat
with Radka, Anne, and Marty and got our climbing permi

go skiing in the winter, hehe. There is pretty much nothing else on the way
to White River. The way out of Paradise, however, has a few nice
restaurants though. My favorite is Copper Creek.

Emmons would agree, appart from being overly crowded, DC is a way more
interesting route to go

you're the only group on the top.
Still remember the fresh ice fall on our way back when we were traversing
around 2pm

发帖数: 13580 | 29 In comparison, Emmons route is free of rock/ice fall. The only concern is
crevasses. We were so lucky that the condition is excellent. We only had
very few small crevasses to cross.

terrible. I make an effort to eat breakfast there before a hiking trip,
usually order the Deluxe Big Breakfast combo: eggs, sausage, pancake, and
harsh brown :)
