9天八夜，四个营地。不幸碰到了山火，全家一起走了panorama trail，第二天一早ld
又独自走了4-mile trail去开车回来，两个地方(一个小溪和tioga lake)前后钓到8条
trout，在tenaya 和june lake有了泳.
多数时候因为远处的山火，天都不蓝。

One night at summerdale, our site is right at a fishing spot in the creek.
Caught 8 rainbow trout. Too much dust at campsite and gross bathroom though
3 nights at upper pine. Free shower at curry village. Rode bike in valley
and to mirror lake which now is just a pond. Kids played on beach and in
river near RI captain and swing bridge.
Too hot at mariposa grove.
Walked down to valley from glacier point through 3 waterfalls.
Climbed back to glacier point through 4 mile trail to get car.
One night at diamond o campground due to 120 closure just a few hours before
our arrival at north entrance. Nice, quiet and clean site but we didn't
explore nearby area. Used kid's sand toy bucket for hot shower. Very nice!
Will show a picture later. Big trees to hang hammock.
3 nights at Tioga lake campsite. Swam in Tenaya lake. Gorgeous beach. Caught
two trout in
Tioga. Cold without sunshine and at night. Super beautiful though.
Kids played in water at June lake near 395.
As before food at Mobil station is great.
We took rice, tomatoes, eggs, salted duck eggs, sausages, and other vegi.
Cooked dinners every night. Homegrown tomato soup is even more delicious out
there. Also used Ramen and mountain house after ran out of rice. Should've
brought beer.
Brought many kids toys and books to entertain them. Of course loaded many
videos in two pads. Hard to live without them completely nowadays.
Very happy that kids liked camping. Grandpa like it also, reminding him of
his days in wild xinjiang during culture revolution. |
