帮一个好朋友贴一个招人广告,这个方向在micro/nano-system和stem cell
proteomics结合的领域,现在交叉学科里面最活跃的方向之一。有两个职位,一个PHD
RA position, 一个postdoc fellowship,在University of Michigan的Mechanical
Engineering Dept,我都贴到下面了。如果有兴趣的请直接跟他联系。

New Graduate Research Assistant Opening in Nanofluidics and
Single-molecule Study
Description: The Integrated Biosystems and Biomechanics Lab (IBBL) at the
Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
has an immediate opening for the graduate research assistant. This position
involves research to use advanced micro/nanofabrication techniques to
generate nanofluidic structures to study molecular transport properties at
the single-molecule level in constraining nanofluidic environments. This
research can potentially lead to a better understanding of molecular
dynamics in the confining nanofluidic geometry, which is a critical step
toward fulfilling the promise of the nanofluidic proteomic research and
future highly integrated bioanalysis micro/nanosystems. This research can
also potentially provide a novel basis for ultra-sensitive and high-
resolution sensors and medical diagnostic systems. Potential candidates
with relevant experience in micro/nanofabrication, micro/nanofluidics,
polymer physics, and fluorescence imaging of single molecules are welcome to
apply.
Starting date: 09/01/2012
Application instruction: We welcome inquiries about this graduate research
assistant opening. Applicants should send their cover letter, curriculum
vitae, and any published paper or manuscript in preparation (preferred
electronic format: pdf) through email to Dr. Jianping Fu (j**[email protected]).
New Postdoctoral Fellow Opening in Mechanobiology and Live-cell Imaging
Description: A two-year postdoctoral fellow position is now open at the
Integrated Biosystems and Biomechanics Lab (IBBL) of the Mechanical
Engineering Department, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. This position
involves research to use novel micromechanical systems developed in our lab
coupled with live-cell imaging to study mechanobiology in human vascular and
pluripotent stem cells. Potential candidates with relevant experience in
mechanobiology, live-cell imaging, and human pluripotent stem cells are
welcome to apply. The long-term goal of this research is to understand
mechanosensory machineries in human vascular cells to help address some long
-standing questions in pressure-mediated vascular pathologies and to provide
unconventional approaches to characterize and understand mechanobiology in
human pluripotent stem cell function regulation, which is important for
future large-scale production of clinical-grade human pluripotent stem cells.
Starting date: 09/01/2012
Application instruction: We welcome inquiries about this postdoctoral fellow
opening. Applicants should send their cover letter, curriculum vitae, and
any published paper or manuscript in preparation (preferred electronic
format: pdf) through email to Dr. Jianping Fu (j**[email protected]). |
