get internet access. no push mail though

and use my simple phone to get MediaNet. Sounds like I should
be able to browse and use IMAP to check email (does BB have
IMAP client?)

Try LogicMail. It's good and more importantly it is free.

recommend? Just for browsing, ebook reading and occasionally
writing or replying to email and IM.
Does BB have MSN and Yahoo messenger and Skype client?

For the IM client, you could use Palringo for MSN, Yahoo, QQ etc...
Seems no Skype, I tried to look for one, but cannot. If you found one, pls

that you need a Palringo login and save all login information
of MSN, Yahoo, etc. on Palringo server? I didn't quite like
that approach because of privacy issue - they'll have all
your passwords. Or, is it a native client for MSN, yahoo?
I just searched. It looks like skype hasn't released a
client for BB yet.

You can download and install MSN, which works fine.
I dont use Yahoo, so no idea about it.

发帖数: 2198 | 10 There's an MSN client that can work without data plan. Go over to berrycn.
com and search. The one on RIM website requires data plan.
Also there's an official Skype Beta. Not quite good though. |
