According to web site Phandroid, there’s a sale on Droid and Eris
happening this weekend (12/4 to 12/7). Open a new line of service (also
applies to anyone whose bought within the last 30 days) and get one free
Droid or Eris smartphone with each regular one purchased. Requires the
obvious new 2 year commitment (unsure whether this would work for
upgrades) as well as $30 monthly Verizon data plan on each phone. The
