module is needed, how will that be done? what in my mind is:
1. directly copy abc.ko to /sdcard/somewhere/
2. use root,# insmod abc.ko
If this simple, why xda-guys on the forum needs to have customized ROM (even
JMxxx, which I totally don't know what it is)?

android is highly customizable. so different vendors might have different
configurations for their kernel & userspace stuff.
in your senario, usually a customized ROM is required if you want to make
the load of the new module automatic. because by default, the init program
and all the init scripts are put in a initramfs which won't save changes you
make during runtime. then, if you want to add your own boot scripts, you
need a new

concerned with which ROM I need to flash (or no flash need at all). People
on xda-dev always mention JMx+Samsetx, what are these? Which is ROM and what
is the other? Also, they mentioned "stock kernel", what is that? is that
out-of-factory kernel?
