I just got my new TouchPad. However, as soon as it booted it was quite clear
it has a dead pixel near the center of the screen! I actually noticed it
before I finished reading the text in the box.
I'd like to overlook it, but it's so centered and the dot pitch is so large
it isn't possible for me to forget about it. I've lived with dead/stuck
pixels in LCDs before, but this is honestly the most annoying one I have
ever seen. I googled and didn't find any useful solution.
I bought it from OnSale. Do any of you know whether this is covered under HP
's warranty? Any idea if HP or OnSale will replace this? |

pixel, which can be fixed. Try this:

Dead pixel is dark in bright background. I can not fix it. :-(
