Just because you don't have a new Lumia handset doesn't mean you won't be
able to use Nokia Maps -- or most of it, anyway. According to ZDNet, Windows
Phone users should expect to see Nokia Maps pop up as a free app on the
Windows Phone Marketplace "within the next couple of weeks," though offline
voice navigation feature will remain restricted to the Lumia 710 and 800, in
the form of Nokia Drive. No word yet on when the app will officially hit
the market, but we'll definitely keep a close eye on it. |

不过nokia完全可以更人性点.map 的 default是meter.但是如果在北美,完全可能设置
成mile.

ovi maps需要输入1234 xx St, NY, NYC这样
的，不习惯
他家是Navteq的东家，ovi自然也是用它，质量不错
导航软件就看习惯了。个人还是喜欢iGo。

searching is better than typing in city, street, etc.
Google is great to search online but it's map is bad. Quite often, it
direct me to wrong places (across the street, e.g.)
