发帖数: 16371 | 2 yeah, the author definitely got wrong information. Nokia showed their gps
system on their pocket pc like mobile phone years ago and telenav is among
the first few vendors providing gps applications for mobile phone around
1997. and I personally using the integrated google map (not navigation
system through) on blackberry before iPhone is announced.
however, iPhone with google map was the first real popular smartphone gps
system, but the system was not having all the necessary functions because
google hold back important navigation function into their own iPhone
competition android system.
as a side note, garmin and most of the gps ststems got hit after Iphone was
born, iPhone was still a milestone in mobile phone GPS IMO.
