stock player.
These videos are playable on my old GS2 using its stock rom.
I noticed 3 format doesn't work.
mpg file recorded from PC TV card.
wmv file downloaded from internet.
mts file from my panasonic camcorder.
At least this part I feel Samsung is doing better job to support different
codec.
Which video player app can play the above video ? Will the video player app
have the chip/hardware level acceleration ? |

I just downloaded both Mobo Player and MX Player, and tried them.
Seems like MX Player is better because
1. It has built-in hardware acceleration.
2. It supports all WMV, MTS and MP files that I have.
Mobo Player doesn't have hardware acceleration. It cannot play 720P WMV
format smoothly. It also cannot play the MTS files that are coming from my
camcorder. |
