连我这个老手居然都搞错了。长话短说，就是如果你是 ATT 的手机，估计只有 nokia
几款手机支持 Qi wireless charging, 其他牌子的手机不支持。Nokia 从 925 起改支
持 PMA, not Qi 了，这也是ATT倡导的。
但是 HTC 8x Verizon 的就可以。ATT 又没有几款电话支持还拼命卖 Qi charger。我
倒！
所以呢，难怪这么便宜，过气的技术真是要不得！花5块钱买个教训吧。

compatible.
Kyle Persell : Do you have another phone with wireless charging enabled that
you could test the pad with?
XXXXXXXX: no, I have another 1520 which also needs charge cover to use
XXXXXXXX: you mean it should work with my 8x directly, right?
Kyle Persell : Have you tried using it without the charge cover?
XXXXXXXX: maybe I should buy another one from ATT web site and try this one
too?
XXXXXXXX: I am reading the web, 1520 using PMA not Qi, so it won't work even
with a cover
Kyle Persell : Possibly. Tell you what. I'm gonna contact HTC and see what I
can find out. Don't buy another charging pad just yet!

Kyle Persell : So it does look like the 8x supports wireless charging
without a cover, at least. Have you tried that?
XXXXXXXX: I did remove current cell phone cover and try it, just nothing
happened. I googled online somebody said their HTC 8x do works with DT-900,
not sure if it is because verizon phone or not
Kyle Persell : Ah, I found our issue.
XXXXXXXX: or I go to an ATT store and see it my phone works with other
wireless charger or other phone works with my charger?

Kyle Persell : It's what you've been saying all along, actually. I just
wanted to confirm that it was true, because I didn't want to believe it
myself. :( The wireless charging is exclusive to the other carrier, so the
8x doesn't support it. Our phones compatible with wireless charging are the
Nokias.
Kyle Persell : On the AT&T website, under the list of compatible devices,
only the Nokias are listed.

我是明显看见有人在网上贴的 video，就是 HTC 8X + dt-900 的组合，才下手买的。
谁知道ATT来了这一手。Tech Support 自己都没想到。开始使劲说肯定是支持的。
结果 Phone 从他家买的就不支持 wireless charging.
不过气能这个价钱吗。想想也知道。 |
