1) Before you turn it on, Switch Sim Card
2) Go through initial setup using wifi
3) Open google play store:install "network" app by phillip mangelow. If the
google play store app crashed when you type in, you need update the google
play store. Here is how:
• open Play Store app
• open hamburger menu, tap settings
• scroll to bottom and click on version number
• a prompt "will download and install" will appear
• dismiss the prompt and close the app
• miraculously, some minutes later, when reopening the store it
will be updated to 6.0.0, and search will work.
4) Go into phone settings (swipe down from top): tap settings/more/
cellularNetworks/
IMPORTANT: Stay at the page of “Cellular network setting”.
5) Pull down notifications (swipe down from top)-> turn Airplane mode ON
6) Run network app-> set preferred network type by tapping radio select drop
down (found just above turn off/on radio btn)-> select lte/gsm auto (prl)--
> tap turn on radio btn
7) Go back the phone settings (opened in step 4): cellularNetworks/preferred
Network Type -> select 4G (recommended)
8) Turn Airplane Mode OFF
9) Input the appropriate APNs for your specific carrier | f*****g
