After reading multiple forums including this one, and observing what
happened with T-Mobile, I, and other people, have come to the conclusion
that the carriers still do have a say regardless if your device is unlocked
or not, and it seems to only be for the Nexus 6. Once you put in a SIM card
for a certain carrier, your phone basically becomes a branded phone for that
carrier until you switch SIM cards to another carrier or take out the SIM
and do a factory reset on the phone. Before last week, T-Mobile customers,
from what I have read, were in the same boat as us AT&T customers even with
an unlocked Nexus 6. Now that T-Mobile has approved 6.0, everyone on T-
Mobile seems to be getting the update now. It sucks, I know. I was under the
impression I wouldn't have to deal with the carriers holding up updates
when I joined the Nexus line for the first time with an unlocked Nexus 6
purchased from Motorola, and apparently that is not the case. I think part
of the reason is something to do with the Nexus 6 being the only Nexus
product that was sold by all the carriers as well as Google and Motorola....
at least that is my theory.

错，跟iphone有一拼...
