学校的保险到底好在哪里? 去年缴了近1000，只去了一次
SHS作体检，今年又长到1350。我仔细看了看学校的plan，
似乎也只cover大概90%的费用。 | t****a

偶听偶们系的学生会主席说的。
因为偶们向系里报怨为什么不cover保险，
他解释说，偶们系不能单独加，要与
SEAS school统一行动，但SEAS已经考虑过了，还是
只加stipend 而已.
偶们系是加了800。不过还是赶不上保险生殖的速度。
anyway,保险虽然贵，但还是必要的，不买不行啊:(
就是觉得这儿的医生象是2把刀，什么都说是过敏。

they got at Math at least 13500+1200+4050=18750 with only about 13 hours
a week and 10 months a year, not bad yah | x******n

99-00 year, the guy in math dept get only $11500 for 9 months
00-01 year, about $12800 for 9 months since there are $1000 fellowship
from dept for one year only. B-))
01-02 year, they get insurance waive from SAS but don't have as much as
what you said

00-01 year, $13000 for 10 hours of teaching/week, 9 month; $1200 for
math center, 2 hours/week, nine months; $4050/month summer teaching,
20 hours/week. altogether $18250 finished in 10 months without much
work.
01-02 year, basically the same except that they have free insurance and the
part of $13000 goes up to $13500, if not other increase. altogeher 18750
plus free insurance. that's the calculus.

One. not everyone hold the math center. B-))
two: not everyone get summer teaching. B-))

only you so enjoyed life bah. it's said you worked for 5 hours a week? p:-
then stil want a higher pay?
everyone will get summer teaching as long as s/he wishes, less than 120 hours
of work with $4050. otherwise it's free from the beginning of May till the
beggining of September, though the payment of May is still there, why not
get in more money elsewhere? you worked for 0 hours in the previous summer
and still got $3000, in addition to the May pay, "zhi1 zu2" ba |
