散，所以不太敢开，因为正宗的中国菜在美国是活不下去的，老美吃不惯，对于他们来
讲，多洒点盐和番茄汁可能更可口些
，水平还不稳定，其他都这末烂，做川菜就这末难？

不过比四川饭店里的就没法比了 |

还有什么的，没一个味道正宗的，连材料都被私改了，店家服务生还一脸自豪地不断来
问，感觉怎么样，我与MM四目相对无语，憋了半天，挤出两个字“还行”
，水平还不稳定，其他都这末烂，做川菜就这末难？

Sure, it's good, but not as good as we had imagined/remembered.
We had hot-pot, bbq, xiao-chi, etc, from famous restaurants
as well as nong jia le, after all that we were thinking to
ourselves, 'is that it?'.
Perhaps our taste has been Americanized, or perhaps the
food has changed in China, or maybe our memory of
food back home has been romaticized. |

were only used to treat foreigners.
Secondly, it has been a long time since "nong jia le" was totally changed to
a trick which always takes money from your wallet without giving anything
really pure or nature.
In terms of "taste has been Americanized", that is not so exact,cuz we all know, America
does not have any food culture except rich-fat express.All good foods here
are from abroad. So I think the exact mean you want

I am particularly partial to mushrooms and wild vegetables, and was
not able to found one dish that had a lasting impression.
The vegetarian restaurant in Wenshuyuan, IMHO, is not as good as the ones
in Toronto.
Anyway, taste is very personal, it is wonderful that you find the food
