I was sent to live my grandparents when I was 3 yrs old. My parents were
both working and they had to take care of my brother too. My grandparents
were both well educated ( college graduates for their generation), and my
parents were not ( they only went to high school).
My grandparents were very strict but they did provide me very good eduation.
Now I am in US and got a PhD from Lvy league school
