红肿，几乎没见他揉眼睛。不知道是怎么回事儿。我担心一个是他觉得好玩故意的？眼
睛要近视的征兆？儿童抽动症？有人知道吗？或者有类似经验分享一下，不胜感激。 |

发帖数: 743 | 7 如果他眼睛没有红肿、分泌物或其他明显的问题（e.g.斜着看东西-近视眼征兆），不要管他，过一段就好了（等几个星期）。越说他可能越眨。我儿子两岁多有一段这样，看了没问题，不理他，过一段好了。 |

My son started blinking his eyes excessively around 2 and half year hold. It
came and go for about 3 months. Sometimes he would blink his eyes nonstop.
I checked all kinds of online sources in both Chinese and English websites.
We brought him to see his pediatrician as well as a pediatric eye doctor.
The eye doctor gave him an eye exam and everthing looked fine. He suggested
that it might be dry eyes and certain allergic reaction. He said there was
nothing to be worried about but did gave us some sample eyes drops and asked
us to give him some if we felt necessary. We ended up not giving my son any
eye drops but here is what we did:
1. Pretend in front of the kid that nothing is wrong and never calls his own
attention to this. We aduts also tryied not to talk about this while he was
present. He would blink more if you keep telling him not to do that.
2. Cut down any exposure to computer screen and TV.
3. Use some cold(icy) water/towel to wash his eyes when he blinks too much (
I thought of this idea myself, but the eye doctor confirms that indeed is
the right move)
4. Stop playing with Playdough (This is out of his grandmother's observation
because she found out that he blinks more when he plays with Playdough. We
confirmed this because once he started to blink too much after he came back
from a friend's home, and we later found out that he played with Playdough
at the friend's home.)
My son stopped blinking excessively graudally after we followed what were
outlined above. He is now three years old. We still don't give him
playdough to play at home but he plays with Playdough occasionally at day
care. His day care also gives three year olds computer class (basically
kids play games) for half an hour every day. And we also allowed him to
watch some TV or watch video on computer screen at home, but for a total of
less than one hour. He still rubs his eys sometimes but I think that's
within normal range.
My friend's son also started blinking his eyes around the same age. He is
about 7 now and would still occasionaly do that. None of the doctors they
visited could say why. My experience is that parents are perhaps best person
to make diagnostics of your child's problem. But it's also important to
see doctors to rule out possibilities of serious problems.
I found the discussions in the following thread are very helpful. I hope my
experience and the discussions here will help relieve you a little bit and I
wish you son will get soon bet better.
