样防止有 crown的牙齿再感染?我们一天早晚两次刷牙,还用簌口水.
她的新牙也开始长了.

门牙是乳牙吗？如果是为什么还做crown，不是马上掉了吗？我看朋友的小孩，3岁多，
门牙不好，医生就给拔了。
问你的医生，或者换个医生吧，这个医生貌似很猛，没什么问题还上crown，估计转大

应该没有吧,就一月份全麻手术时做了crown,当时医生还说牙根好的,所以不用拔,做
crown可以保证牙的功能.
8月底?因为有颗带crown的门牙感染了.
那颗大牙附近前一段刷牙的时候,他说过痛.

if the tooth has no pulp treatment (Pulpotomy) at Jan, but had infection
after 7 months, this is new infection could be caused by gum infection
which extended to root area.
if checked up and x-ray taken at 8月底, there is no findings on 那颗大牙,
so 那颗大牙 should be OK at that time.
suggest flossing after each meal.
The most important thing is making space maintainer after extraction. at 5
years old, the permanent 1st molar is erupting. Make sure the dentist use
space maintainer (called "distal shoe") to prevent 1st molar shifting
forward and keep space for future 2nd premolar eruption at age 11-12.

Try to use the floss after meal.
Then you need to find a good pediatric dentist in your city. Not General
dentist. If 右边下面大牙疼 again, you need to see doctor ASAP, They can give
you some prescription oral rinse which can helps.

发帖数: 6997 | 19 crown 就是在真牙外面套个套子？啥目的呢，除了美容？ 5岁小孩有啥必要做呢，过一
两年乳牙就掉了，要做crown等长出恒牙再做也行啊。而且这些东西包括矫牙一般都要
等大些才做，比如十来岁。
乳牙被折腾成这样，感觉你们被忽悠了。

还有新牙长出来很多，乳牙还不掉甚至不太松动，说明什么？牙齿结实钙充足？
BTW，娃吃饭不错，差不多顶一个成人饭量，所以营养不良的可能性不太大。

还有一大笔手术费.

baby teeth have chewing function, speech function, and esthetic.
There is another very important function: maintain space for future
permanent teeth.
if lost baby molars at early age before eruption of premolars (at 11 or 12
years old), the permanent 1st molar (usually eruption at 6 years old) will
shift forward, so the permanent premolar (1st or 2nd) may be blocked and
unable to erupt. Then very complicate orthodontic treatment (may including
extraction premolars) has to begin at early age and takes long time to
create space or move teeth. Parents have to spend more money in braces, and
child will be suffered by extraction and long term treatment.
experienced dentist usually pediatric dentist will make space retainer or
space regainer to hold or create space for future permanent teeth eruption,
if premature loss baby molars.
Only front baby teeth exfoliated at 6-8 years old. Baby molars and baby
canines will be exfoliated around 11-13 years old.
---- Why use crown for baby teeth?
baby crown is different from adult crown. Usually is stainless steel crown.
Some crown for front teeth called porcelain crown, which had white porcelain
at facial surface for esthetics.
if baby teeth has large decay, the tooth is weak, crown can hold the whole
tooth structure to prevent fracture and can prevent all tooth surfaces from
decay. Usually crown can stay with teeth till it exfoliated.
however, other filling materials can not last for such a long time, some
white fillings failed even within 6 months. The child has to have dental

牙医做更多处理也可能与商业利益有关；就象眼科医生劝说给小孩配眼镜一样，我觉得
普通的小孩如果只是刚开始近视，难道就只有配眼镜吗？他们还在成长，难道视力就没
有办法恢复吗？配眼镜就是和商业利益有关。

发帖数: 2215 | 27 这个通用牙冠，我以前有一样的疑问。后来有次娃的牙冠掉了，赶紧约了去牙医那里，
看到了她们的牙冠，和上牙冠的过程（以前是手术室里上的牙冠，没见过具体过程）。
那牙冠是通用的没错，但也有不同大小的型号，医生根据哪颗牙需要，和牙的大小，挑
一个合适的。然后是晃一个小罐子，Mix里面的胶吧，晃好了挤在牙冠里面，然后把牙
冠套在那颗牙上，要按几分钟，估计是等那个胶固化。
所以，虽然牙套是通用的，但里面的胶还是根据娃牙齿的形状把牙套粘在牙齿上的，这
也是和大人Crown不同的地方吧。
