the cut-off, and when I contacted my school district I was told there was
absolutely no way to enroll into K if she doesn't meet the cut-off date. But
I have also heard some other districts may allow you advance to a higher
grade if you finished K/1st grade in a private school and passed evaluation.
So I think you will have to contact the actual school district to get the
definite answer.
About participating in lessons of higher grades, our district has a program
called "GROW" in which students who are accepted will learn some more
advanced/broader topics. I know Virginia has some schools even bus students
to other schools if the program is not available in their own school. But I
think, again, it appears differs from district to district, that is why
parents look for "great" school districts. |

That is what I heard from others, that some districts allow you to advance
to higher grades if you passed evaluation.
From what I see it focus on broader/more advanced topics, not necessary
topics from higher grades. I don't think they are blended into higher grades
' lessons, but on their own curriculums. |
