弟弟：“Mommy, do you know the first president of the United States is
George Washington."
我：“我知道啊。”
弟弟："And then there is another George, and then another George, and then
there is Obama?"
我：“嗯。。。对。。。不过当中还跳过了好几个呢。”
弟弟：“I know. One George is George Bush and the other George is also
George Bush, but one is the child and the other is the grown-up."
我：“他们做总统的时候两个都是grown-ups。”
弟弟：“So, when I grow up I can be president too?"
姐姐：“You have to be famous. Like everyone knows you so that they can vote
for you."
弟弟：“How can I be famous？ I am not good at that."
姐姐：‘You can try to be a rock star."
弟弟一脸困惑：“But I don't know how. I thought to be a president I only
have to be intelligent."
我心里嘀咕：还intelligent呢，要不要趁机教育教育他们，要好好学习才能变
intelligent？ 还没来得及我开口，
姐姐：“I know what you are good at. You like Hawaii and you can do hula
dance."
弟弟开心了：“Yes! I can do hula dance and I'll be famous and I'll be
president!"
我：“能Vote的都是大人哦，大人不会那么轻易选一个hula dancer做总统的。”
姐姐：“That's right，you have to be 13 or 27, so something like that."
弟弟："18! You have to be 18 years old before you can vote. 18 is really big
.... Mommy, do you think 18-year-old still likes my hula dance?”
我终于找到机会说我的台词了：“18岁很大了，大人更关心你是不是懂很多东西，所以
你在学校要好好学哦。” 不过话是这么说，心底里倒还希望他们是那个啥都不懂的傻
孩子，让我天天听他们瞎扯。 |

当年学校的卧谈会。

感触2点，1，有姐姐真好，姐姐就是比哥哥耐心
2，还是一个孩子学中文更容易，大人只说中文，孩子就逼得说中文了
这2孩子自己聊英文，父母也没法，哈哈

他们的英文是怪我们在老大的时候没有坚持。版上的老ID都知道当时让我家老大说任何
事情都非常艰难，她无法表达就发脾气，所以我们根本不管她用什么语言。能说出来就
烧香了。老大的关没把好，老二就很难立规矩了。

我认识的大多数有兄弟姐妹的家庭，孩子之间都丢英文
父母也不可能说，你们不说中文就不许说话吧？
我儿子英文不太好，因为我们在家里就只跟他说中文，讲中文故事
可是他跟别人家的中国孩子一起玩的时候
很自然就丢很烂的英文出来了，HOHO
