coupons. then another cashier questioned me where i got it from and called
some manager - she did take it in the end but it wasn't pleasant.

macy's. if they don't take it, you'll just go to another macy's. say that
politely and they might not want to lose the sales. :)

said something like, "Your company distributed this coupon, so I demand a
legal explanation in your rejection." I would also ask if this coupon has
to be presented with anything else, such as a Macy's account or credit card,
but from the look of it, it can be used as is; therefore, I also demand a
formal apology for not accepting it.
Cashiers have no reasons to cause unnecessary pain to customers. If they
don't behave,
