发帖数: 13571 | 8 I don't know anything about FSA but something about HSA. But I think the
fundamental principles are the same.
Basically you can defer certain amount of money into your HSA account before
tax if you do that through deduction on your payroll. That will lower your
taxable income. Then you can use the money in your HSA account to pay for
medical expenses. There are certain limits as to what kind medical expenses
qualify. You can get more info by searching HSA or FSA on irs.org.

the money in your FSA account will expire by the deadline and if you don't
use them then they will be gone; i.e. they don't roll over. |

放得多，能省多一点，但是没那么多用的，还得琢磨怎么用，要是万一浪费了更亏

about HSA was the OTC without prescription thing according to our agent.
I was told that thanks to Obama, now the government is asking all the
insurance companies to pay unlimited coverage for people with major health
problems staring on 9/23 , making it hard for insurance companies to predict
their liabilities. So they just increase the insurance premiums on people/
businesses... ft
Oh and another news is that all preventative services will be free now, i.e.
covered by health insurance, such as the $1800 Colonoscopy test men
normally do at age of 50. Now it'll be free for any age group. wahahaha
