CVS is recalling the green bag pictured above because of elevated levels of
lead. (only this particular style is recalled.)
the lead levels of the bag exceed 100 parts per million and Federal
standards prohibit paint on products that contain more than 90 parts per
million.
"There is no evidence that the use of this bag is harmful to consumers," the
company said in a statement to the Tribune. "It is being voluntarily
recalled as a matter of precaution."
customers can bring the bags back to the store for a full refund.
