Medical affair is to support sales people so that they can get in tough with
doctors. Usually it is difficult for sales people to contact doctors
directly because doctors are too busy to meet those sales people. Medical
affair people provide a bridge to doctors and sales people by showing
doctors new progress (mainly data based, no pressure for sales) in the drug
in the field. This is more like a scientific discussion, and if the doctor
is interested in using the new drug, then he will get in tough with the
sales people.
Pharm Op works on the process toward commercial, usually after the work done
by Pharm Dev, who work on the process for developmental stage.
