I started to look for job in industry. Is there anyone who have hire a
hunter to modify the resume and supply the job position? Please give me some
suggestion on the process of job searching.

Here are what I recommend:
1. read hundreds of job descriptions, digest and summarize key words, and
skills
2. write summary of your qualification (profile), key skills (bullets)
experience ( what did you do, what are achievement, what are the impacts),
education. two pages total, don't worry grammar or words used.
3. find a professional resume writers, fees vary from 100 to 300 dollar. Let
him finalize your resume, one page only (my recommendation)
4 sending resume, you should expect phone screens
5 then prepare how to do phone interview, onsite...

much time you think the HR people will spend on reviewing your resume? I
think no more than 2 mins, stop at half page if not interested.
2 do you really think what you did in PhD thesis is that important? I don't
mention anything in my resume (1 page) when I looked for my second job.
