both will give you some basic ideas,which should be enough for entry level
medicinal chemist. However, if you want to claim credit on med chem or drug
discovery, industrial experience is necessary.
On the other hand, strengthening your synthetic background should be more
helpful than med chem classes. After all, no matter how smart the design is,
you still need to make it with your hands.
